Who We Are

Ersoylu Consulting was founded in 2007 by Dr. Leah Ersoylu to provide policy and advocacy solutions to non-profit clients in Southern California. Since then, the firm has evolved to deliver a broad array of evaluation, strategic management and research support services to clients in all sectors engaged in social change.

Dr. Ersoylu holds a bachelors degree in Environment & Resource Economics from the University of New Hampshire and a Ph.D. in Political Science, with a focus on public policy, from the University of California, Irvine. She is a policy analyst and researcher by training with experience in community building in an array of social justice-related public policy issues. Dr. Ersoylu has over 10 years of non-profit experience at both the programmatic and management levels. She has worked with numerous community-based organizations over the years and served as founding Director of Policy at Latino Health Access, a non-profit organization in Orange County. She occasionally lectures at the University of California, Irvine and California State University, Long Beach, where she teaches courses on Non-profit Organizations, American Government, Urban Politics and Public Policy Analysis.

Dr. Ersoylu also serves on the Board of the St. Joseph Health System Foundation, and on two different Advisory Committees of the Robert W. Johnson Foundation, which oversee Environmental & Policy Intervensions for Childhood Obesity Prevention and Evaluation of Healthy Kids, Healthy Communities Initiatives.

Other team members work with us on a part-time or project basis. Ersoylu Consulting has a network of over a dozen experienced, culturally competent consultants with expertise in fields ranging from environmental policy to educational assessments. This diversity helps us to ensure that we create just the right team for your particular project, tailored to meet your needs.
